• Position the scanner well away from any electrically noisy sources. The scanner should not be placed close to strong magnetic fields and strong air currents. Placed close to air conditioning units, TV sets and photocopiers, the scanner may operate incorrectly.
• Keep the scanner out of direct sunlight and away from any heat sources.
• Do not install the scanner in a position where vibration may occur.
• Do not install the scanner in a humid or dusty environment.
• Be aware of static electricity. Ensure that the flooring and support for the scanner are made of materials that do not generate static electricity.

Safety Warning

When positioning the scanner ensure that no portion of the body of the scanner is overhanging the desktop. Never attempt to move or relocate the scanner without help and hold the scanner along the horizontal bottom edges (i.e. by the rubber feet)

Make sure that the input voltage and frequency indicated on the label match that of your power source.
