Installing the Portable 230MB MO drive
Remove the floppy disk drive by sliding the expansion bay module release latch on the base of your PowerBook in the direction of the arrow. Hold the floppy drive by the textured gripping area and pull it out of the PowerBook.
With the label on the MO drive facing upwards, slide the unit into the expansion bay and push home firmly until the release latch locks into position.
Use the above procedure in a similar fashion to remove the MO drive and insert another expansion bay module or to restore the floppy drive.
Insert the MO disk fully home until it locks into position
Notes
Before removal of the MO drive make sure that the disk has been ejected from the mechanism by dragging the disk's icon to the wastebasket (trash) or selecting Put Away from the File Menu. Do not transport the drive with a disk inserted as this may cause damage to the MO drive.
