Preparing the Print Unit & Toner cartridge

The print unit arrives installed within the printer but will need the packing sheets removed before the toner cartridge can be installed onto the print unit.

Remove the upper protective sheet (Clear) covering the green toner drum by pulling the sheet forward and slightly upwards.

Remove the print unit from the body of the printer, in order to remove the lower protective sheet (Black) which is held by 4 pieces of yellow tape, ensure all remnants of the tape is removed from the unit.

Re-install the print unit into the printer, Install the toner cartridge onto the print unit, pins on either end of the toner cartridge clip under tabs on the print unit, press down firmly on the toner cartridge ensuring that the green catch latches securely.

Holding the toner cartridge, pull on the toner seal on the left end of the toner cartridge, (marked with triangle), this seal should be removed completely, (about 18" of clear plastic sheet)
