Designed for the rigours of mobile
computing, the DynaMO 230 Portable delivers high
performance removable/rewritable magneto-optical (MO)
storage in an extremely small package. The drive provides
for easy media interchange between portable, desktop,
server and jukebox systems. State of the
Art Technology
At 18 millimetres high the DynaMO 230 Portable is the
worlds smallest MO drive. This physical size can be
deceptive though as it can store up to 230MB of
information onto industry standard cartridges. It also
reads and writes to 128MB media. The DynaMO 230 Portable
uses Apple Computer's new Powerbook Expansion Bay
connector, allowing "plug and play"
installation into either the 5300 or 190 series of
Powerbooks. Its high performance makes it ideally suited
for near on-line workfile needs including QuickTime,
multimedia, and office automation applications.
